8월 2일부터 6일까지 호주 멜버른의 왕립전시관(Royal Exhibition Building)에서 전시되는 이번 멜버른아트페어에 임선미작가는 박여숙갤러리(Park Ryu Sook Gallery, 부쓰위치 : Stand B74)를 통해 Patrick Hughes, 허달재, 김태순, 권기수, 이훈청, 이진용, 임만혁선생님의 작품과 함께 전시에 참여합니다.
Melbourne Art Fair 2006 is the premier fair and public exposition of contemporary visual art in the Asia Pacific region.
Established in 1988, the Melbourne Art Fair is held biennially at the World Heritage Listed Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne.
Melbourne Art Fair 2006 will be held from 2 - 6 August.
Melbourne Art Fair 2006 will be the most dynamic event to date, featuring over 80 national and international galleries from Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, China, Germany and the Netherlands.
The Melbourne Art Fair program in addition to the exhibitions, features the Vernissage in association with Saab, a national and international Collector’s Program, public lectures, curated exhibitions, including Project Rooms and feature installation, art publications, Private Lounge, guided tours, tailored travel and accommodation packages and associated parties and events.
Melbourne Art Fair programs enhance the livelihood and profile of contemporary visual artists, with 60-65% of all event sales returned to living artists.

- 개 요 : 호주의 문화 중심지인 멜버른에서 열리는 아트페어이며, 부스를 무료로 할당하여주는 것이 특징이다. 멜버른 아트페어는 아시아태평양 지역에서 현대 비주얼 아트에 대한 최초의 무역전시회이자 대중전시회이기도 하다. 1988년 호주 상업성 갤러리 협회(ACGA)에 의하여 설립된 이후, 멜버른 아트페어는 2년에 한번씩 호주 멜버른의 역사적인 Royal Exhibition Building에서 개최된다. 멜버른 아트페어에서는 호주 및 뉴질랜드, 일본, 한국, 중국, 독일, 네덜란드, 미국, 영국 등에서 80여개의 갤러리가 참가한다. 멜버른 아트페어는 유한책임회사인 ACGA가 소유한 비영리 조직이다. |
